The side bar menu disappeared a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have activated all the updates. I had resisted any updates because I am a flat out rookie when it comes to WordPress and I didn’t want to risk things changing and not being able to adjust the changes. So, I have the updates but they can’t be the problem as the side bar disappeared first.

You are dealing with a raw rookie here. Could you elaborate a little more as to what I am to do? I am really new to all of this.

As a follow up to my above post, it turns out when I access my website from my wife’s computer, the post a reply is there and working. Someone else posted a comment as well. However, on my computer, I get the 404 not found in the reply box. What does all this mean?

I marked it resolved. When I come back to the post, it says unresolved. Not sure what’s going on.

I reloaded video. Everything is fine. Thank you very much.

Well, it worked, sorta. The video came up this time, but a message came across the video saying and error had occurred, to try again later. I will see what happens, maybe reload the video.

Anything that pertains to code I am woefully ignorant of. Is there an easy way of doing what you suggested?

I am using twenty eleven. This is the first website I have ever done. I am a raw rookie and am having to learn every step of the way.

On my blog the posts are listed as categorized or not categorized. Any post not assigned to a category is listed under not-categorized. I am wanting the posts under a specific category to only be able to be viewed if the reader clicks on that specific category. That way the posts are separate from general posts.

I wonder what I am doing wrong. I clicked the blue link button, typed in the website, and it showed up under my post. But when I sent it, it doesn’t show up. I am trying it again.
