Hi @macmanx, looks like it’s an original creation. The theme is called “counterpane-school.” Are there standard fixes for this kind of issue?

Thanks to both of you. The CSS snippet definitely worked, but I still need help in making sure the navigation menu stretches across the page. If I remove the secondary menu, it breaks the primary navigation (i.e. all the top- and sub-level pages display in a vertical list).

Is there a way to hide and/or remove the secondary menu, and then make sure the rest of the items don’t break across two lines? Thanks again for your help.

Thanks, Iridax. Looks much better now. I only have a few more questions:

1. Is there a way to get just a line on top rather than a border line all the way around? You know, just a line to separate the body text from the footer, but not necessarily a full border?
2. Do you know why it might not display the formatting – for example, borders, lines or text size – in Mac’s Safari browser? Very frustrating.
3. I’m also still not seeing the text within the border box centered, even though I added that text-align tag.

I have it looking better in Firefox – but still need the line. Safari is a different matter, can’t get the font size to change at all. Hmmm.

And I just lengthened the page by adding a few & nbsp; tags. Thanks again.

I’ve looked through every line of code through the Theme Editor – and made changes I thought might work – and I still can’t resolve the problem. Again, the site is https://www.the-gardenschool.org/test/ and I want to get rid of everything below that line that’s about mid-page – the area where there’s no text.

I just wanted to clarify this: what I’m looking for is to make the pages small horizontal rectangles rather than the vertically-stretched page it currently is. Each page will have a small amount of text.
