In reply to: [Recent FB Posts] unable to click "Create new app" button on FB dev page.Same boat here. Screenshots don’t help as they only show the obvious part from the plugin-nothing at all from the FB app page.
When I click on “create new app” from the FB developer page, there’s no place to “Select “Website with Facebook login” and set your Site URL” as the installation guide states.
Did we go to the wrong place on the developer site or did things change there??
I feel like the installation guide is just out of date…I would also like to know the solution to this. I’ve installed this plugin on a couple of other sites with no issue, but anytime I select “like box” instead of button I get the same result as the OP. Anyone got a clue here??
Just went ahead and used “Estate” from WooThemes. Simple to use (had it up and running in a couple of minutes instead of wasting a few hours with this one) and if we ever need MLS, there are a few different plugins to try out for that-.
Thanks for the response Craig-
Seems like such a simple thing I’m trying to accomplish – although I think you and I both realize it never is!
I’ll probably check out a couple other plugins-let you know if anything works…Ever get any help on this??
Getting pretty frustrated with this myself as it’s far from intuitive and yet explains away the lack of ANY documentation as it’s not needed(!)
Sigh…I can create basic listings, but cannot add images or edit the listing after it’s been created. Anyone getting this to work with 3.4.1 or should I just give up and try a different plugin?

In reply to: Couple of basic probably simple gallery display questionsThanks for the response –
yup – been there and tried that. Doesn’t matter what number I input for “Number of columns” – still show up in a single row. (currently I have “4”)“test the 5 other options below this one” unfortunately doesn’t help much. Uh – have been banging my head against the wall for a few hours – so further “testing” on the same items isn’t going to fix anything

In reply to: Couple of basic probably simple gallery display questionsNothing huh? Hoping I described the problem(s) accurately. Are my questions just so basic?
Guessing that for #1 above, I could modify the CSS by adding a float;left; to the thumbnail div – yes?
Also guessing that for #2 I’m just SOL – trying to get the gallery to work in a way that it’s just not designed to?Ditto – I too would like to know what “registration-ready” means and how to implement it as the OP requested
Is this a case of “it’s not ready yet, but will be eventually?”Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Tried to uninstall Events Manager plugin, to (little) avail<img src="https://www.group23.com/images/menu.jpg">
Not sure how to do that here – but you can see a link aboveI also installed the “CalPress Event Calendar”, which is what appears on this list as “calendar”.

In reply to: Tried to uninstall Events Manager plugin, to (little) availStrange, as the folder no longer appears on the server, but the items still appear as available menu options. Some remnant in the database I’m guessing…

In reply to: Tried to uninstall Events Manager plugin, to (little) availOk, not THAT much of a newbie ??
Yes, I went through wordpress Plugins > Installed Plugins > delete and got the “insufficient privileges” message.
Latest version of WP (just did the upgrade a day before)
It no longer shows up under Plugins, but still appears in the top menu. I was able to delete the old one and recreate it w/o the Events pages, however they DO still show up as options – i.e. the “delete” wasn’t so thorough.
Earthshattering? Heck no
Annoying? you bet
