In reply to: Error establishing database connectionHere are the suggestions when they shut down my site due to high cpu usage:
————————
There are several ways on how to decrease the CPU usage per your account:<> If you have files that are downloaded very often (or images), we would recommend to mirror them, or host them on image / file sharing sites and only submit a link for the file in your site.
<> If your site has a database which generates a lot of load, please check the structure of it, and try to optimize / repair it. You can perform these actions via the cPanel -> phpMyAdmin.
————————My blog posts have maybe 5-10MB of images, and the problems/shutdowns always seem to be correlated with new blog posts being published. I have no problems any other time.

In reply to: Error establishing database connectionYeah. They’re horrible. I’m just wondering if a “cpanel update” could have changed the database name, or if Hosting24 did it because my site had generated a lot of traffic and bandwidth since posting. There are many images in my posts, and this isn’t the first time my site went down after posting.
I’ve known about the WOT warning for a bit. Not too sure why it gives a warning. I think the one single review said something about spam. Not sure where the spam is coming from or how to rectify it if it is my site.

In reply to: Page Anchor Not WorkingStrange.
My browser (up-to-date Rockmelt – based on Google Chrome) interprets the link to have a slash between about-us and #contactform because, when I click the link, there is a slash between the two in the address bar.
I’ve tried adding the slash between the two on the page, but the same result. It goes to the about-us page and shows the …about-us/#contact form in the address bar, but doesn’t go to the anchor.

In reply to: Page Anchor Not WorkingHmm…still no.
Links to the correct page, but doesn’t go to the anchor.

In reply to: Page Anchor Not WorkingI’ll try that.
I originally wrapped the anchor tag around a word, but that didn’t work either. I’ll give this a shot.

In reply to: new plugin auto tooltipGreat plugin, only it breaks my lightbox plugin (fancybox) that I am also using.
Any workaround to maintain the functionality of fancybox?

In reply to: Blog Hacked – Need AdviceI don’t have a recent database backup.
It looks like things are going to be OK. I checked my access log and found an IP that traced to Afghanistan. I sent an email to the hotmail address on the hacked page, and, as it turns out, it sounds like a young kid who was the victim of western terrorism in Afghanistan. On my route page, I made reference to the “so-called war on terror”. I explained the meaning of “so-called”, and he gave me my login details back. I just need to figure out ho to remove the index page and replace it with mine. Uploading my index.php file for my current theme doesn’t seem to work.

In reply to: Help with image caption issueFound the solution to the problem after reading this post: See this post.
Seems I needed to override the WordPress default of adding 10px to the caption. This was done by copying the Zack0990 code in functions.php to the corresponding file for the Arras theme.

In reply to: Help with image caption issueI’ve been using Dreamweaver to edit values, then saving and reloading the web page to see the changes. It’s not really real time, and it’s sort of annoying switching application (especially on a laptop), but that’s what I have been doing.
I’ll look into the development tool in Chrome.
