It looks exactly as yours except for slightly different text in the message boxes such as “Sorry, booking is now full but watch for cancellations. Thank you.”
We’ve tried different emails in notification box such as from BT and to a different pc and location at a friends email. Still no notification!

In auto responder I have changed the “from” to default admin email which changed nothing.
Not sure what you mean by “from” address being sent and spoofing. Surely we need a from so the customer can reply?
My email is through 1and1 Ionos to thunderbird on the pc.
Although it always worked perfectly until the last update 9.2.2
I did notice that 9.2.3 was available but it wasn’t found on update?
So, I dont think it is deliverability?

Thats fine if pending does increment the places booked and I can’t think of any scenario where it would be useful as it is.
And I’m pretty sure no-one will need an option to turn it off or on.

Alan, you’re a star, I or someone had dragged it into side bar so we are now able to add events.
We aren’t bothered now but when we click on Deactivate on both sites we get the box around the link, the link shows bottom of the page but absolutely nothing happens?
Anyway, many thanks for your prompt help.

Thanks for update and the extra names seems to work fine thanks.
I’ve ran tests and all permutations are fine except if the customer books a trip but doesn’t pay they get booking confirmation, we get their booking and it shows pending in registrations. Before they got an email after a couple of hours saying payment wasn’t made and try again. I’ve got these ticked and have text in message box.`
“<em>Pending payments, for events with a cost that that immediately redirect to payment can be cleared after a short while automatically.
Enable auto clearing of pending payments
Hide registration details for pending payments.</em>`”

Hi Alan, we understand you are busy and we are on your free plan so we don’t want to presurise you at all.
So we’ve had another look.
The extra persons drop down box works fine with single payments but the box doesn’t appear when its variable prices e.g. for a child.
I tried adding an additional box to show for people to enter extra names using “additional info” in Registration settings but that wouldn’t show either.
So we moved address and post code into one box “user defined 1” allowing us to use “user defined 2” for extra names which works fine as a workaround.
Theres always a but, We thought because some people struggle with the internet we would add a pay on arrival button as offered in the settings which works fine except it doesnt count towards people coming (leaves it as pending) in registration page.
Then of course if someone books normally they will take their place. This one isn’t that important as we can add contact details elsewhere for problems.
But (and this is a good But) we are very pleased now with where we are and what we’ve got.

Found it, I must have missed on payments- variable label, item label. I had cost rather than “[label] at [currency][cost] each:” Now it works.

But also we need to have other names as well for safety reasons, we used to have “Show box to add more names if number attending is greater than 1″ ticked in registration settings which worked well. But it now doesn’t? We havent ticked ” Tick if you want only a single name/email to reserve” in Edit event (we have tried ticking it then unticking)

I’ve checked, every plugin apart from QEM is deactivated, I’m now on twentytwenty as you can see and made new basic event as shown “test 3” Still fails

Hi Alan, I’ve checked all QEM settings compared with my test site which does show the full info e.g. “Enter number of places required, Adult at ￡0.02 each:
Both sites have same settings.

At the moment I have all plugins apart from QEM deactivated. I’ve had a different theme as well but still won’t work.
Using health check it says background updates not working as expected plus a couple of Recommended improvements. But I think its not relevant?
Would it help to re-install wordpress?
I’m now really struggling!

Is it possible to have a payment for adults and either reduced child payment(50%) or children free?
We saw the cost table but not sure how it works.
