In reply to: [wp-forecast] Shortcode?I cannot use shortcode! For some reason, it does not work for me. I’m using: [wpforecast id=”A” lang=”en_US” width=”300″ height=”500″] in a Theme widget and nothing appears. Is there something wrong with my syntax?

In reply to: [Event Calendar] magic quotesI eventually chatted online with my hosting company and discovered that they had forgotten to restart the server. All of my problems went away after that.
The only thing I can suggest is move your site, try clearing your browser cache, or finding an alternative plugin. I realize that these are not handy suggestions, but I didn’t build the plugin.
I’m sorry that I can’t be of more help.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Another Chrome issueThank you Tobias. There’s no way in the world I’d have been able to resolve this by myself. You went above and beyond the call of duty, sir, and I appreciate it.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Another Chrome issueMe thinks that did it Tobias!
Take a gander on your end, but on my side, I can see the link in Chrome.
Thank you!!!!!
Again, let me know when I should revert to the original theme and reactivate my PIs.-g

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Another Chrome issueHi Tobias-
Unchecking “Use DataTables” had no apparent affect. I’ve deactivated all plugins except 2 and changed the theme to default.
Let me know when you’d like me to revert.
Again, thank you for your help. I’d much rather use Tablepress than look for an alternative. An alternative that I’d like as much rather.-g

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Another Chrome issueHi Tobias–
I just deactivated plugins/switched theme and nothing of any import was discovered.
With no plugins activated, no table or links appeared. (A table did appear on the the No Tablepress page.)
With the YouTube lyte plugin activated, links appeared. (On the No Tablepress page.)
With both Tablepress and YouTube lyte activated, no links appeared. (On the Tablepress jukebox page.)How might I go about resolving the jQuery problem? I have no coding experience but I’m willing to try to solve this. I just have no idea where to begin. Or what I’d be doing, but that’s another story…

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Another Chrome issueHi Tobias-
Sigh. Now I’m really confused. I did as you instructed and checked on the desktop computer instead of the laptop. And now I see that I have a Logged In problem. I cannot see the links they way that they are supposed to appear unless I am logged in to the site.
I’ve taken a series of screen captures. I took captures of both Firefox and Chrome, both Tablepress jukebox page and No Tablepress page, both Logged In and Not Logged In. I posted the screencaps here:https://s1345.photobucket.com/user/humblecolor/library/Tablepress/LoggedIn
https://s1345.photobucket.com/user/humblecolor/library/Tablepress/NotLoggedInThis is what I am seeing. Unfortunately, you are seeing something different.
I think that I’m entering senility, because I don’t understand any of this. But I appreciate your time & trouble Tobias.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] Audio only doesn't appear in ChromeHi Frank-
Thanks for the suggestions. I thought I was losing my mind when, after creating this page: https://humblecolor.com/jukebox-with-no-tablepress/, I decided to double-check the original link. Well, I was surprised to discover that my original links now displayed properly.
Once.
After loading the page initially, I browsed to another page and then returned to the Tablepress jukebox page and, on the second visit, my links were once again rendered as just plain text.
I’m going to to head over to the Tablepress support board now and see if I can’t glean any caching information there. Thank you for your time and insight. Hopefully I will find a fix, but since this now appears to be part of a Tablepress dilemma, I’ll mark this, albeit temporarily, as resolved.
Once again, thank you for your time, but don’t let me forget, also for a great plugin.

In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] Audio only doesn't appear in ChromeInterestingly enough, I have a local copy of this running on XAMPP. My jukebox control bars are alive and well on my local machine, but my live links fail to render in Chrome.
Crazy.

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Update 4.3I finally had to move my site to a new host because I couldn’t reinstall WordPress correctly. Every time I reinstalled WordPress, I had NO editor. See my support threads here.

In reply to: No Visual EditorSure:
https://humblecolor.comI should mention that I have no toolbar in my text editor either. When I attempt to change to the visual editor, WP simply reverts to the text editor.
