Ok. thank you. I think it’s an issue with the sitemap so thank you for checking. Ours is setup through the yoast plugin, so I have reached out to them and google search console as well. Thanks again.

Yes, we did deactivate Yoast without any success. So have reactivated it again. Neither story is showing up on google search console. ( Only the one web story shared earlier is showing up for amp/ console and indexed). The only other plugins we have that would be an issue are SG optimizer and WP rocket, but deactivating one at a time reaped the same results of those 2 web stories still not indexed and the one webstory being fine. At this point I don’t see how it could be a plugin setting if we have one web story completely fine. Thoughts? Let us know.

Everything in YOAST is turned on and is being found in search. Sitemaps are in place and everything else seems to be being found fine.
Not sure if it’s somehow a localized issue?

is indexed, found in AMP etc. ….
any other plugins that would affect these two stories?
Would duplicating the stories, re-titling them, and republishing them help?

Hi there, I seem to be having a similar issue, where the story is published but failed Amp and indexing. For instance, this web story https://www.polkadotsandpixiedust.com/web-stories/things-to-do-at-magic-kingdom-for-christmas/ isn’t able to be indexed and is anchored as a link to an indexed page https://www.polkadotsandpixiedust.com/christmas-at-magic-kingdom-for-the-holidays/ which is showing indexing errors when I try to request indexing.
Thoughts? Plugins have been updated and caches purged.

Just wanted to chime in on this. We too are having the exact same issue. Meta is updated in post but also completely blank as jetxpert’s image shows. Yes, to updated yoast plugin, and correct wordpress version. Re-saving does not fix it. Neither does clearing site, server, or browser cache. Interestingly the “keyword” section on that WP admin pages section does update and is showing the update. Meta Description, however, remains blank.

Thanks for the reply. We are not running a separate cron task, or a plug-in and just using the built in cron. We’ve never had a missed post until these last three posts- which is strange cause we’re getting a little over 2k a day on the site right now as opposed to lower traffic days where I totally get your point. we changed hosting and WordPress updated but other than that nothing else. I’ll check on a plug-in option as well. Thanks.
