In reply to: lost link to blog postsThe problem was migration from one theme to Pinboard. Once I built the page from scratch the theme worked perfectly.
Watch out for migration problems when switching themes.

I not that technical, but to me it seems like a delay to communication to the SQ Server data base. Just guessing.

What I notice when surfing my page is a delay before the page then loads. Once the page starts to load it comes in quickly. check the other pages and see if you see the delay I am talking about.
FYI my service at my house is fast with other sites, so it not to connection issues, etc….Forum: Fixing WordPress

Andrew, I didn’t delete the plug ins. I just deactivated them. Then did the speed test. Should I delete all of them?
Interesting about the Speed test, one I did on Pingdom scored ok. The on at gtmetrix showed my site as being average.
The thing that has be off a theme problem is the admin area is also running slow. Just getting the WP-admin log in page is slow.

I have turned on two plugins of them to see if the problem comes back.
I didn’t try to switch to Twenty Eleven because the admin area seems to be running better with the plugins deactivated. So I think it may be a plug in.Forum: Fixing WordPress

After I start to add the plugins, how long will it take to start to effect the admin area? Yesterday I disconnected the plugins but it didn’t immediately correct the problem. To day it running better.
