‘IMPORTANT: Switching To a Child Theme Notice:’ answers my question rightly. I’m sorry, probably I wasn’t clear enough that I had had already working setup and that I was moving it to child theme just at the time.
Thank you!
Well, I’m not sure how debugging is supposed to help me. As I only now enabled it, there are no any logs from the time I ran your plugin and something went wrong. The only option is to run it again and see what happens, but it seems I can’t run it for single particular blog post to test, there’s only option to run it for all blog posts, and I’m not going to do that as I’ve already fixed most of the posts by hand..
Thanks for answer. The parameters of test envirionment you used match my current setup, but at the time when I ran the plugin I was still on WordPress: 5.0.10. I’m sorry, I’m still pretty new to WP, what log do you mean? Where can I find it?
Thanks Abhishek, but I know how it’s supposed to work. It just doesn’t work like that. To put it in other words: I had OceanWP fully configured to suit my needs and I wasn’t using any child theme. Now I want to modify functions.php so I manually created child theme and put only functions.php there. From what I understand, visually my site should be exactly the same, as only functions.php comes from child theme and rest of files are from parent theme, but it looks differently. And “Additional CSS” is also missing in the child theme. Is it how it’s supposed to work out not? I think not, but it’s my first child theme so I’m not sure
Hi Ryan,
As already pointed in github issue, updating WP did the trick for me. There’s another issue persisting but I gave the details on github, I think there’s no reason to copy-paste it also here. If anyone is interested there’s a link in your reply.
Hi,
Ok, I deactivated the XO Featured Image Tool plugin, but it didn’t help. I created a bug report at https://github.com/getblocklab/block-lab/issues/634
What should I don now? I think about uninstalling block lab and installing it back, won’t it impact the posts I have already created with my custom blocks on them? What should I back up not to create my custom blocks all over again after reinstall?Hi Ryan,
Thanks for prompt answer. If you mean browser console, it displays 2 warnings when I open “New blog post” page:-
DevTools failed to parse SourceMap: https://aska-knives.pl/wp-content/plugins/block-lab/css/blocks.editor.css.map
post-new.php:1 - Found 2 elements with non-unique id #_wpnonce: (More info: https://goo.gl/9p2vKq) <input type=?”hidden” id=?”_wpnonce” name=?”_wpnonce” value=?”bad709c0e8″>? <input type=?”hidden” id=?”_wpnonce” name=?”_wpnonce” value=?”623962739b”>?
The 2nd one is probably off, but the 1st seems to be in topic.
As to plugins, no, nothing seems to be related to blocks. There is only 1 plugin I think potentially could be causing that: XO Featured Image Tool. I added it as the last plugin, way later than all the other plugins. I added it around 2 months ago, which more less matches when the issue start to happen (at least based on when it worked well the last time, as I can’t recall the exact moment)

In reply to: [OceanWP] Keep footer at the bottomHi Amit,
Thanks, works great! ?? Which is surprising a bit as I tried before the below but it worked only on some pages:
footer#footer {
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
bottom: 0;
}Nevertheless, it works and that’s the most important! ??
Hello,
Thanks a million! Works like a charm ??
