As user borisj I also use the plugin Subscribe to Comments Reloaded. Here it’s obligatory because of the german law DSGVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung). So I’m not allowed to deactivate it.

I’ve got the same problem. Every new comment ist deleted as spam. On a new page there appears “deleted as spam”.

Well, I thought so and put it into the comments.php of my theme. But it didn’t work. That was the reason for my question.

The same here. I tried to change from the old plugin “Gurken subscribe to comments” to this one. But the Double-Opt-In doesn’t work. I carry on using the old plugin.
