I fixed it by going back to the previous version.

I have the same problem, I have tried it on 3 different websites and on different servers and it gets stuck in the verification process and the javascript and jQuery alert comes up.

I had the same Rest API Error and I checked that the permalinks were set to Plain, it was solved by changing it to Custom Structure. In case someone can be useful.

One of the Gutenberg blocks is “Classic” using this you can paste continuous paragraphs inside without separating them.

Muchas gracias César, acabo de desinstalar y volver a instalar y ya aparecen las casillas de “ver” y “aceptar”. Pero la casilla “ver” solo cambia el texto en el banner de cookies, no en los comentarios de WordPress. como puedes ver en la siguiente imagen:
