In reply to: [Gutenberg] This is NOT an “upgrade”@camikaos Thanks for the tip on the Classic Editor plugin. I was able to resolve my site’s layout/display issues once I installed that.
I hope support for it continues.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Update issuesDon’t get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY appreciate all you guys do and have done. You’ve ALWAYS been quick and helpful with issues. I got myself in trouble for not doing my due diligence with the upgrade.
If I’m off-base on my speculation for future “in-app purchases” or so to speak, I apologize. It just seems like a lot of developers who didn’t initially embrace this new (horrible for the end user) model are now backpedaling with features. My bad. I didn’t really look hard at your pro options yet.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Update issuesIf the removal of all the customization options in the widget is a new “feature”, I’ll stick with 2.4.0. I’m getting the feeling I’m going to be steered into a paid option to get stuff back yes?
Just put up a donate button or charge me outright for 2.4.0. It’s PERFECT for what I need.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Update issuesSame here with everything wiped out. Tried to repopulate everything (API, cal feed ID) and it still doesn’t work. Calendar page has a title and is then blank. 2hrs of my day I didn’t need to waste on this. Shame on me for not reading all the changes for 3.0
Rolled back to 2.4.0
Oops sry, changing it FROM calendar default TO the WordPress timezone fixed it.
That’s fixed it, thanks for your help!
My general Google Calendar app settings and the specific calendar settings are both set to GMT -4 Eastern Time as is my WordPress site.
Please advise.
Looks like it might be showing UTC? I’m EST (currently -4).

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Once again incompatible with…Lol… enabled by default for those who can’t read the upgrade description… ?? Thanks again.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Once again incompatible with…Yup, Sry. Missed that. All is well.
Yup, good to go on all counts.
Thanks!
I’d like to amend my last post. Yes, deactivating Widget Manager Light corrected the display problem but as with JohnLatham, the next and back buttons still do not work and the popups don’t work. I can’t even click on a date to force a popup.
And this problem also exists with in default TwentyFifteen theme.
Alright, I started the “who’s not playing nicely with their friends” plugin game. It’s conflict with Widget Manager Light which I use quite a bit. I guess I’ll have to figure out an alternative solution.
#2 was the first thing I tried.
Yes it works in the default themes.
Damn.
I too am having problem. The widget has broken since the update.
I have it set to Grid (month) view and now it appears as unformatted full entries.
