In reply to: I can't switch over to visualTo some extent I’m happy to read what you’ve written … I thought it might have just been my WP not responding to link clicks for widgets, inability to find and change to HTML view in the editor etc.
I’ll hang around and keep my fingers crossed for a solution soon.
The problem isn’t evident on my site, only in the admin area, but my site is at https://desert-wave-enterprises.com

In reply to: Problem with Visual Editor – many steps taken, none helpedI’m having a similar problem with Twenty 10 and WP 3.5 … my widget drop down links don’t work and I can’t get into HTML when entering text. Visual is accessible, but not Text and there’s no HTML tab.

In reply to: Twenty Ten Theme … Eliminate Space Top of HeaderThank you … I’ll follow your advice.
Thanks very much Christine. I appreciate your time and will read up on child theming and implement the code change using that approach.

Thanks Christine, especially the link to child themes with which I’m not familiar, but would like to be. I’ll have a read later today.

In reply to: Can’t log in after 2.8 upgradeMy Admin Module won’t work either. I get password errors. I’ve reset my password several times, but still no luck. Obviously the module that processes the passwords is stuffed.
I’ll try some of the solutions above and see what happens.

In reply to: Database Upgrade Error in Upgrade.php FileNow the following error occurs while trying to load Admin:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: favorite_actions() in /home/em/emp/employment-one.com/public/www/blog/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 113
I’ll enter a new topic about this elsewhere.

In reply to: Database Upgrade Error in Upgrade.php FileResolved. Here’s the problem:
The file wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php includes the line that relates to populate_roles_270, however in the schema.php file you referred to, the last command is actually populate_roles_260 as you said.
I simply changed the 270 to 260 and it worked.
Perhaps the people responsible for programming need to make the change to rectify this matter.
Thanks for your help.
