I have deactivated the plugin in the interim, and as mentioned above, deselected AMP auto ads on Ad Sense.

Under manual loading:
“Please note that the settings described here will only insert ad codes immediately after the consent will be given. In most cases the code will display ads, however, this may not happen in all the cases as the ads are displayed by the ad code and the ad code decides what to display and when.”

Does this mean, that if consent has previously been given (say, yesterday), the ad will not show until the next page load?

I am working on the same issue, and have set:

Manual loading to Auto
Dynamic blocks to Client-side insert.

Is it indeed blocking the ads from appearing, but once the consent is clicked (using the plugin GDPR Cookie Consent), the ad does not then appear.

Also, when I have Client-side insert selected, one of the ads will not appear on the inside pages (only front) at all. It is mystifying. Changing this back to server side corrects the issue.

Where should I be looking to correct this?

Works perfectly – thanks so much!

So after seeing there was a bugfix for this issue, I updated it and the shares returned.

However they have disappeared again – only for Facebook. I set the “Refresh Share Count cache every” to 45 minutes and left it for a few hours.

Still nothing.

And the app is still coming up with

100% of Limit Used
We will unblock your rate limit in 0 hrs and 44 mins.

Will this ever NOT be a problem? Should we be looking elsewhere for share count data?

we’ve gone another way, and are now using a different plugin.
As an aside, it seems Facebook made some changes recently and wiped out share numbers on all posts.

I’ve done that, and looking in the app it has been “application level rate limited”.

It says “We will unblock your rate limit in 0 hrs and 44 mins.”

Why has this suddenly happened? All was well until a couple of weeks ago.

Do I need to do something different?

That is referring to a totally different website.
For example this page had 25,000+ facebook shares, and now it has none:

Thanks, we have done that and there are still no Facebook shares showing up.
Only the Pinterest share count is showing up.

I’m having the same problem – all our Facebook shares are gone.
