Thanks, Meagan. I was beginning to suspect something like that. The trouble is the plugin doesn’t appear on the dashboard list nor can I see it via my FTP site. I think it’s sitting somewhere out of sight on the server and the tech guys have simply disabled it so that I could gain access the dashboard. I guess I’ll have to get them to do it.
Thanks, anyway.
Rob
Actually I figured out how to install via the dashboard, but when I tried to load it I got the same message as before, that is:
Could not create directory.
Plugin install failed.??

Thanks, Jesse. I use WordPress hosted on my site via Serverpoint and have only added plugins automatically from within the dashboard. So I’m not sure how to add this one myself, having limited tech knowledge. I might wait until you release it tomorrow. But thanks for sending it! Much appreciated.
Cheers
RobJesse, One of my WordPress sites recently updated to 4.2 and I was running Clef 2.2.9.3.
I could not log on admin dashboard, even after it accepted my Clef account, which was running. It asked me to fill out username and password, but refused to accept either (even though my other sites opened via Clef without issue). After much experimentation (and being finally locked out) I had my server techs switch off and delete Clef for the troublesome site.
That allowed me to get in, though now that particular site refuses to load Clef on again. Any ideas?
