Okay, I see what you mean. My logo now though has returned to the left side on my desktop. It’s centred on the phone but also left of the table.

Okay, got it figured out. The mail was being blocked so I installed WP-Mail-SMTP and together with my web host configured an email account that the site could use to send mail. Now all the mail comes through.

Update: I sent a mail using CF7 v7.3 around midday to both my work and a private email address and have received the one to my private account.

I’ve got the same problem. I’ve reverted back to 7.3 which seems to work although it does take about 12 hours for the mail to get to me.

Miyoshi, how does Contact Form 7 send mail? I’ve asked my host to look into the problem but they keep asking me for the mail account that’s been used to send the mail.

Okay, I’ve spent the morning trying to figure out how to downgrade to version 7.3.3.3. The cleanest way to do this is to delete the plugin from the Plugins page of the dashboard and then to install the older version. The catch here is that it deletes the forms data from the database. This forms data is stored in wp_posts (WHERE post_type LIKE ‘%wpcf7%’) and wp_postmeta (look for meta_key ‘_mail’, ‘_mail_2’ and ‘_form’ – I think that’s all but I might be wrong).

I’ve sent a test mail and am waiting now for it to come through. It’s probably going to take a while though.

Yesterday I reverted to the previous version and sent a mail which I received this morning. Because I never received the mail yesterday I assumed it also wasn’t working so I upgraded again to the latest version. I’m going to have to downgrade again today. Even though it took ages to get through, at least it did.

Anybody got any ideas why this is so.

I tried reverting back to the previous version but it doesn’t seem to have made any difference. I’ve tried deleting and recreating the contact form shortcode but that made no difference either.

Anybody know how to configure CF7 to send mail using a username and password?

I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried sending to my company address as well as my gmail address and neither work. I’m going to try and revert back to a previous version and see if that doesn’t solve the problem.

By the way, how does Contact Form 7 send mail? I’ve recently installed Better WP Security and am wondering if that’s caused a problem.
