OK, found it! There are 3 “Select” statements in the
“wp-includes\comment-template.php” file – around line 290. I have changed all 3 to have ” DESC” at the end. This will reverse the default (Ascending) sort order.

I’d like to know this too! Any answers anyone? I’m sure this is as easy as changing the SQL (adding “order by … desc”) but not sure where the SQL is.

I just made the change and you were absolutly right….easiest thing in the world! Thanks very much, its exactly what I wanted.
