I don’t know how to code, and to be honest, I don’t want to customize my site too much, but of course if I don’t like the way rating is implemented, I will change the code to suit my needs.

I would like to know if there are major differences in terms of functionalities and look… for example, if premium (= not free) themes look cleaner, or if they offer additional features which plugins may not offer, such as:

– anonymous posting
– popular posts widget
– various social platforms supported for sharing posts
– Load content on scroll

What I mean is… can I get most of these features via separate, free plugins, or would it be better to buy a theme that offers them in its package?
It is very hard to know in advance which solution is better, I checked screenshots and features for various themes and plugins, asked questions to developers, still not sure of the final result.
