Almost nobody uses their hosting service to send newsletters. They’re not set up for such transactions. Use Send Grid, MailGun or a similar service.
For example, add the MailGun plugin to wordpress, establish a MailGun account for free with 10,000 free emails each month and let them do the newsletter mailings for you automatically when you hit send from the Newsletter.
The plugin will also use MailGun service to send notices and other messages out from wordpress when the MailGun plugin is installed.

I use MailGun with 100,000 a month plan and have the same problem, so I use a different newsletter plug-in solution with some large lists. I’m not a fan of this limitation in their model for revenue. I’d prefer to see them charge a fee for using their sending service. The number of subscribers is a moot point, but they must believe if you have that many subscribers, you’re making money with this service. Not necessarily true. Charge money for your services, but don’t punish those that have a large list.
Create a new temporary list with the potential members. Send them a solicitation with a link to the sign-up page, then delete the temp list.

In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] Fake registrations, Spamthis is annoying. the problem still exists.
this looks like a conflict with JetPack. Templates disappear using JetPack.
“An error has happened while performing a request, the server has responded with response code 500”
also seeing zero templates available on one site.
It’s an arbitrary limit that has no reasonable purpose except to encourage payment. Other newsletter plugins have no such limit.
this issue hard crashed on of my sites and was not able to be fixed by the suggestion in the knowledge base. Big bad bummer. I have turned off auto-updates for all sites using MailPoet.
Web site completely crashed after trying to fix this error. Using the info from the Knowledge Base article caused a hard crash. Backup took a while to install.
I tired deleting the plug and re-installing it, but I get the same error.
This site is sitting on a lightSail instance at Amazon Web Services and I have no way to FTP over and change the files. I also have no tech support to ask them for help.
Any suggestions on a fix for this sudden new problem beyond the short Knowledge Base article?
now i get this rror.
MailPoet Error: Unable to connect to the database (the database is unable to open a file or folder), the connection is likely not configured correctly. Please read our Knowledge Base article for steps how to resolve it.
I don’t call it a minor bug since it put five of my web sites in panic mode.
how can we go back to version 3.330?
I am experiencing the same problem.
