File Permissions for both folders are currently both 755..is this the same as 0755?

It’s quite alright ?? I have installed a plugin that allows me to do just the thing, have unlimited types of sidebars on any page.

How may I check filesystem rights and .htaccess files? I currently do not have FTP access. Do I need it? I have contacted amazon (my host) and am waiting for their response for my ftp login details.

I have Akismet and SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam but these have always been around.

No theme security/images/permissions settings are there

Okay I have successfully edited the .php page. I’m just slightly scared to upload the new theme on my wordpress, thinking that it will alter all my settings, etc.

Okay I have found the download page here:

So this means that if I upload THIS version of the theme, it will oversave all my theme options right? Which kind of sucks..

I have found the upload page etc. So knowing how to download the theme is the only last thing I need to know now before I go about doing this.

Also, if I upload the new theme, would this oversave all my slider images, etc?

1) I do not know where this folder is, it is not saved onto my computer and it is all done online. T

2)) I’m currently having trouble trying to figure out what this FTP is. I heard that WordPress doesnt even support FTP nor does it support the uploading of themes. Can I not simply edit it in the editor? I would simply copy the previous version of the file to elsewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
