Thank you for the update @devteamzeal
Is this an issue with all the users or just a number of users? Did you try creating a new user, does the issue persist?
Or if you try to reconfigure 2FA (from the user profile page) does the issue persist?
You can also try to use a different device, and see if that does the trick.
Can you please advise?

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] wpal 5.2.2 php notice still filling logs with new wp6.7There is a post about this on the Advanced WordPress group on Facebook. This seems to be a problem with a lot of plugins. Also, in the release notes for WordPress 6.7.1 on WPTavern it seems that this issue will be addressed by WordPress: https://wptavern.com/wordpress-6-7-1-scheduled-for-november-21-2024-to-fix-bugs-in-wordpress-6-7.
So at this stage we’ll wait a bit to see what is going to happen. After all, the logging can easily be switched off on live sites. I hope you do not have debug enabled on production websites.
Thank you for using our plugin.
The most common cause of “invalid codes” are time problems: the time on the device (mobile, computer, or server itself) is not in sync with the timezone configured on the system.
Can you check the times and advise? Also, can you confirm if this problem affects all users, or only a number of users?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

In reply to: [MelaPress Login Security] Hide/Redirect LoginHello @eac2015
Thank you for trying our plugin. What are your thoughts so far? Please let us know if you have any feedback.
In regards to your question; technically, “hiding” a login page means configuring it on a URL that other people do not know, and you have to access that URL directly to log in. “redirecting” means redirecting a request to a new URL. So for example if you have changed the login page URL to /log-me-in/ and someone accesses the default URL, mainly /wp-admin/, they are redirected to the new URL.
I hope the above answers your question. Is there anything else we can assist you with?
Thank you for your explanation. Indeed, what you are saying definitely makes sense in such setup. At the moment there is no “out of the box” support for what you need, sorry.
However, we’ve added this to our features requests list and it is something we will definitely look into in future updates.
I am sorry I cannot give you a more definitive answer today. Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Have a great day.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] wpal 5.2.2 php notice still filling logs with new wp6.7Hello @danielspain
Thank you for using our plugin. I’ve looked into the other ticket and it seems like this was not tested properly. Our bad, sorry for that.
We are looking into this and we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime it is good to know that this does not affect the functionality of the website. We’ll keep you posted.
Thank you for your response @liquidonthedrums
At the moment there is no filter sorry. However, I would like to learn more about your usercase and why you’d prefer to use a filter VS roles, since your members already have a specific role. Would you be able to tell me more why you want to do it this way?
We want to continue improving the plugin and the best way to do so is to learn about such use cases.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for showing interest in our plugin @liquidonthedrums
As such there is no “out of the box” integration, however, since all users have the “customer” role, isn’t it possible to simply require 2FA for the users with that role?
Thank you for using our plugin @wppraesenz
We have never tested the plugin with WP-WebAuthn or passkeys from other plugins. However, we are planning of introducing passkeys.
So I am afraid that I do not have a quick solution. However, this will be looked into and addressed in the upcoming version update.
Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Large amount of data in DatabaseThank you for using our plugin @dmarin
In regards to the number of events stored in your database, you should configure the activity log retention policies. Basically you tell the plugin to delete logs that are older than a certain number of days. We have also written a detailed article about WordPress activity log size and the database. I hope that helps.
In regards to the optimization, if there is empty space in the database then the size will shrink. If it is not shrinking, it means that the data is still in the database. Can you check the entries in the tables?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
