Hi Byron,
There’s no hurry on this so if you just raise it internally as a bug to look into for the next release that would be great.
Thanks!I looked into it further and found that there’s a Phone field required tick-box in the plugoin settings as well as one in the Woocommerce settings. They are not synced together and the plugin one overrides the Woocommerce one. e.g. When the Woocommerce setting (phone field) is set to required, and the plugin setting (phone field required) is unticked the plugin setting overrides and makes it optional at checkout.
Workaround for now is to set it to ‘required’ in both Woocommerce and the plugin.
1. Temporarily switch your theme back to the Storefront or Twenty Nineteen Theme.
2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Checkout.I did this and still the problem is showing up. The phone field is showing as optional at the checkout screen, despite being set to required.
Latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and the plugin are installed.
Theme is Storefront, with or without the Boutique child theme.I will give it a try and get back to you.

In reply to: [PayPal for WooCommerce] Orders not completingJonah, you need to remove that link to your log immediately. You’re exposing all your customers’ details.
Rolling back to 1.4.2 functionality is restored i.e. if the address is blank and the “Proceed to Paypal” button is pressed it gives the informative error of “Billing First name is a required field”…etc and if the graphic button at the top is clicked it still goes through to Paypal even after the error messages and still with a blank address field.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] no customer confirmation emailsI get this problem as well. The customer’s email address is not passed to Stripe, so no confirmation email gets sent. In the site’s stripe log the line shows up as:
[receipt_email] =>
How can I get the stripe plugin to pass the customer email address to stripe, so the stripe email receipt gets sent?
Thanks!

In reply to: [PayPal for WooCommerce] Orders are going 'by Guest'Thanks I’ll try the new release. I’ve been getting the same issue of multiple Guest orders since all the updates I installed on 21st August.
Another thing to note – Even though I had ticked “Enable guest checkout” under woocommerce, settings, checkout I went back in today and it had un-ticked itself. Maybe an issue with Woocommerce or wordpress?
PS Note to self – don’t install updates on a Friday afternoon!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to remove "my account" from menu. This seems like a common one but not a lot of answers! Here’s how I did it on for my replacement toothbrush battery site at toothbrushbattery.com
You can use this to remove any pages you don’t want, not just the Account page. You can also use it to create a custom blank homepage without the title in the middle of it and also a blog page.
- In your WP dashboard under Appearance, Menus click to create a new menu.
- Give the menu a name and add in all the pages you do want to appear in your menu.
- Importantly, underneath in the Menu Settings set it as the Primary Menu under Theme Locations.
- Save your menu and that should be it!
