In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7 Stopped WorkingI discovered something trivial: a reCaptcha key entry possibility underneath ‘Integration’. I disabled the separate recaptcha plugin and entered the reCaptcha-keys overthere. Since then the orange border issue is over.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error After Updating to Version 4.7I discovered something trivial: a reCaptcha key entry possibility underneath ‘Integration’. I disabled the separate recaptcha plugin and entered the reCaptcha-keys overthere. Since then the orange border issue is over and I can upgrade to 4.7

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7 Stopped WorkingAfter my upgrade to WP 4.7.3 and CF 4.7 CF 4.7 immediately stopped working, so I just downgraded CF4.7 to 4.5.1 and now it just works again.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact form not workingI don’t see the recaptcha overthere, but this error looks like the error that comes with 4.7. Downgrading Contact Form 7 to 4.5.1 solved that for me (error with an orange frame)

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Red Box Error – No AnswerDowngrade Contact Form 7 to 4.5.1.
However that solves an orange box with the same message in my case.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] I need a fix to this problam Contact form 7My temporary fix is a downgrade to Contact form 7 4.5.1
There’s something wrong with the google recaptcha-call in 4.7. In 4.5.1 it does work.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error After Updating to Version 4.7When looking in the debugger with netbeans there is a different Google-response in recaptcha.php around line 82.
The google reply to success is true for 4.5.1 and false for 4.7.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error After Updating to Version 4.74.5.1 also uses nonce-verification.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error After Updating to Version 4.7Disabling nonce-verification didn’t fix it, however a downgrade to 4.5.1 did.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Error After Updating to Version 4.7I guess the nonce verification is the problem. My site is hosted on a hosting provider which caches with Varnish cache, that can’t be configured or turned off. So the only other option would be to turn of nonce-verification somehow. However I didn’t find that option in Contact Form 7 yet.

In reply to: [Knews Multilingual Newsletters] Email address seems to be incorrectI uploaded the StopForumSpam-diff to 1.8.2 to github, this makes the subscriberwidget function almost perfect without the use of an ugly Google Captcha.

In reply to: [Knews Multilingual Newsletters] Email address seems to be incorrectAfter a week the filtering result of first IP and then EMAIL right at the moment of subscription gives from almost 100 spam e-mails 5 non-spam subscriptions passing. The subscribers that do not pass stopforumspam are really all spammers, and the subscribers that pass all look quite trustful, even one foreign looking address. So within a week a spamcheck right at the moment of subscription is still sufficient for perfect filtering.
So, after a week there is still no proof a job that checks spammers later on, which I previously programmed is necessary. At the time of subscription all spammer IP-addresses or e-mailadresses are already known at stopforumspam.com, and no real subscriber comes via a blocked IP.

In reply to: [Knews Multilingual Newsletters] Email address seems to be incorrectThe knews-way of handling subscription-spammers doesn’t filter out lots of spammers.
I have experimented with the API at stopforumspam.com, and blocking spammers on a stopforumspam-IP-query seems to be more effective than the current knews-way of blocking them. I’ll leave it running for another week and then upload a minimal difference to Github.
