In reply to: [Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer] translating custom stringsHi Ben,
With TranslatePress, translations can be made a bit similarly to the Elementor theme customizer, as if you worked directly in the browser, not through the WP dashboard. I could translate everything besides emails, that’s a great plugin for everything else.
Anyway, I will try to solve this with some coding (thing that I wanted to avoid doing).
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] animated content doesn’t showThat’s great news (for me, at least)! I’ll wait for the update then.

In reply to: [Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer] translating custom stringsI read the topic again and I understand now what caused the confusion. So, yes, I have a bilingual website. It’s just the woocommerce emails that I customized with your plugin that still need to be translated. When in Loco Translate, I click on plugins, than Kadence Woocommerce Email Designer, and I only see the original woocommerce strings, not my custom ones. So I can’t translate my customized woocommerce emails. Sorry if it was confusing!

In reply to: [Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer] translating custom stringsHi Ben,
Thanks for your answer!
I use TranslatePress to translate my website, but that plugin is designed for translations in the front-end only. Their team recommends us to use Loco Translate to deal with strings not visible in the front-end. So I tried Loco Translate, but also Polylang – and I can’t find my custom woocommerce email strings with any of them. My question is: how to find them so that I can translate them? Is there any other plugin that I should try, for example?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] secondary languageI contacted Loco Translate, but I got this answer:
Loco Translate does not and cannot control what is done with translations. It is a file editor.
…
All I can tell you is that my plugin cannot force any particular behaviour. So, I guess I will need a third plugin to activate Woocommerce emails in my second language. I have already tried Polylang, but everything I had already translated with TranslatePress disappeared, so I guess it’s not compatible with your plugin. What about WPML, or other plugins? Is there any plugin that can solve my issue and that is compatible with TranslatePress?
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] order emails in secondary languageHi,
I got this answer from TranslatePress:
Our plugin doesn’t yet detects these strings because they are not visible in the front-end, only processed. The good new is that most languages already have these translated properly.
Alternatively, you can also use LocoTranslate in order to translate these strings.
So, I contacted Loco Translate, but I got this answer:
Loco Translate does not and cannot control what is done with translations. It is a file editor.
…
All I can tell you is that my plugin cannot force any particular behaviour. So, it seems that any of these plugins can’t resolve my issue. What would be your advise? Woocommerce is 100% translated into the languages I need, I just would need to ‘activate’ them for my second language. How to do that?

In reply to: [Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer] translating custom stringsHi Ben,
Thanks for your answer! Yes, that’s exactly what I’m looking for. I customized woocommerce emails with your plugin, and now, I want to translate them. The problem is that the strings don’t show when I want to translate them. I currently have Loco Translate installed. I only see the original strings of the woocommerce emails, not the custom ones. I also tryed Polylang and it was the same, I couldn’t find the custom strings at all (I had to deactivate Polylang because of a conflict with another of my plugins). Do you have a solution for that?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] animated content doesn’t showHi again,
Are you actually working on the issue? Is it worth waiting for a solution or would I be better switching to another plugin? I can wait a few days, I would really be happy if your developers could fix this problem. But I also need to configure my website, so I would need to know…
