In reply to: Fatal Error>>>>>You don’t need to be a developer but you may need to know your way around your files, error logs, etc. to resolve that problem.<<<
No, I don’t need to know my way around files, error logs, etc….that is not what I do. I’m sorry that you don’t understand that, but not being sensitive to others is a Green Meme problem.

In reply to: Fatal ErrorI am not your peer, so don’t treat me as one. I am not a volunteer, either.
Don’t expect every user to understand what you understand…that is the problem with you techies…you think and act like computers.

In reply to: Fatal ErrorI told Mr. Wells that I am not a programmer, that I am not a developer, and don’t know HMTL, but that did not matter to him…all he wanted to do was to shirk his responsibility to fix a problem his software has with other software on WordPress.
In certain disciplines, that attitude is called “the mean green vMeme”, and is represented by this open-source, democratic access to information, but lo if you don’t know what we know, then you and your agenda is not important to us and our agenda.

In reply to: Fatal ErrorI’m still waiting for an answer to my original pots and for an immediate fix to the problem.

In reply to: Fatal ErrorI did calmly create one topic, but the author chose to treat me as if I knew what he was talking about, and as if I was a fellow developer, which I am not.
I do not know HTML, I do not code software, so to expect me to fix a problem that is beyond my understanding is like expecting me to perform brain surgery.
Mr. Wells’ attitude is that he is not responsible if HIS software is unable to work with other WP software, and it is our responsibility to fix HIS mistakes.
You and Mr. Wells must keep in mind that not all users are as smart as you are, so it is your responsibility to answer us with respect and treat us as such, and not like one of your peers.
I tried to use a different landing page plugin, but that costs money. Mr. Wells wanted me to do something that I have no right to do, because I am working on someone else’s website. That person has allowed me access to the site because we are putting together a business opportunity. But the attitude of Mr. Wells is preventing me from creating a landing page for the opportunity my partner and I are working on, and that is why I am trying to get this problem resolved ASAP.
Telling me that this is free and that I don’t have to use it is a cop-out…I have to use it because it is the only one here that does not require spending money that we don’t have at the moment. Your developers should be more considerate and responsible to users and not dismissive as Mr. Wells has been.
When Mr. Wells will treat me with respect, and not assume that I understand what he is talking about, then perhaps I will not be so angry, but he leaves me no choice but to be this way.
This is a problem of generations…the techie generation and the ones that came before them…but it is the techies who need to respect us, not the other way around…you are building software for our use, we are not here to be abused by developers.

In reply to: [WordPress Landing Pages] fatal error on activationThis is not my website…I can’t just do anything I want to it
This should be fixed on your end…not mine..I did not cause this…you did…you named the functions the same, or the computer recognizes them as the same
Why is this my problem? It’s your problem…FIX IT!!!!

In reply to: [WordPress Landing Pages] fatal error on activationSo I’m supposed to fix this? Why? I am not a programmer, and I don’t want to mess up this guy’s website.
Your answer is not good enough.
This is typical of IT people…they expect everyone to understand what they do and do the same…if your plugin is a WP plugin and the other plugin is a WP plugin, shouldn’t they work?
We need to build this landing page ASAP, cannot wait for new releases.

In reply to: [WordPress Landing Pages] fatal error on activationThis is ridiculous…one plugin for Landing Pages wants you to pay after you sign up for a free account, the other has errors with other plugins

In reply to: [WordPress Landing Pages] fatal error on activationI’m not going to mess up his website. I don’t know html, so I would not know what I am doing.
I don’t understand why this can’t be fixed now or why I have to wait for future releases.
We are trying to get business and cannot wait for new software. This makes no sense…I thought WP was easy to use.
