@snat: Ohhh, haven’t seen that. Good to know though. As the blog is only 3 days old, it has not even been crawled by google or anything, so I don’t mind changing the Domain name. I’ll try contacting my Domain Registrar whether I can change it without additional costs.

I just started a new blog 3 days age where I try to walk WordPress newbies (not necessarily dummies ?? ) through getting a WP site up and running. Though I’m still working on it (I haven’t event changed the default theme yet :-)), you can check out this post. It will walk you through to steps to prepare everything before installing WP. Maybe you missed something.
