It’s not because of Schema Plugin. Our plugin is fully compatible with Schema (schema.press) plugin.

you can use Yoast Custom Description for AMP page in the plugin without any issues. It won’t create any duplicate content issues.

You are getting that error because you Enabled search on AMP version of your website and your website is not SSL enabled.

To perform search in AMP, your website must be SSL (https://) enabled.

The solutions are, Simply Turn off Search in AMP or Enable SSL on your website.

AMP Can not validate because the website is not SSL enabled. It is mandatory to have Https enabled on a website to perform Search.

It is also mentioned in AMP Documentation.

This attribute is required for method=GET. The value must be an https URL and must not be a link to a CDN (does NOT link to https://cdn.ampproject.org).

When you install AMP plugin on your website, then it generates an AMPHTML tag on your WordPress website. Google consider AMPHTML tag on your website, index it accordingly and serve AMP to the mobile visitors. This is how AMP Works
