In reply to: [rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress] Uploads don't show on WallHi @n_thirty,
It looks like you haven’t setup or might be you have disabled rtMedia for BuddyPress activity. You need to enable “Allow upload from activity stream” from rtMedia admin settings first in order to show media on their wall.
Please check this document: https://docs.rtcamp.com/rtmedia/getting-started/settings/#BuddyPress for more details.
It will be great if you can use rtMedia support forum: https://community.rtcamp.com/c/rtmedia for any rtMedia related issue.
Thanks.

You can create custom context, you just need to pass them in uploader shortcode. Check this doc: https://docs.rtcamp.com/rtmedia/developer/context/#CustomContexts for more information.

In reply to: [rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress] Awesome work except 1 FLAW.Hi @cybervang,
Please find my answers below to your doubts/questoins.
this product refuse to support ALL kinds of video formats. Are you kidding? It’s been years and you still only support mp4?
Yes, we do not allow all format of files to upload because mp4 is what most of the browsers support. We have the free video encoding service for everyone, its in-built with the plugin which converts videos other than mp4 into mp4 format, you can use it, it’s free. We clearly mentioned that in FAQ https://rtcamp.com/rtmedia/faq/#q1
Let us figure out what players we want for our formats? Give us a PLAYER option. There are LightBox plugins that support every format.
How many player options are you supposing we can provide? Every user/site owner has their choices. Someone need xyz player, someone other. Hence we have just given one default player, mediaelement js. And if you are a developer, do check this document -> https://docs.rtcamp.com/rtmedia/developer/allow-custom-media-types/ for how to allow to upload other audio/video media types. To use other media players, you will need to unbind mediaelement player first and then bind your own.
The ALL media short code is still not working properly.
Can you tell me what exactly is the issue you are facing with all media shortcodes?
I can suggest you to create a support request on https://community.rtcamp.com/c/rtmedia.
Hi Jnu,
Make sure you have upload option enabled for BuddyPress activity from rtMedia admin settings under BuddyPress tab and also check once with WordPress default theme and with other plugins disabled, it might be theme issue or some other plugin conflict.
