In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Database Error with Broken Link CheckerHi,
I had the same issue, PHP version 7.3. The fix worked – I installed the 1.11.10 version, checked for broken links and then updated the plugin.
Works fine, thanks.Hi, Kriti,
Thank you for your help. After reinstalling the plugin I was finally able to figure out, what was wrong. I had an option ‘Store the responses in the database?’ on ‘No’, so the restriction of attempts did not work. When I switched it to ‘Yes’ the restriction started to work and the message shows correctly. It was not obvious to me, that we should store the responses in order to properly count the attempts.
By the way, the link to the documentation on the plugin leads here: https://support.quizandsurveymaster.com and all the topics there are empty, or at least they are for me.
Thanks again for your help, it is a great plugin, please don’t abandon it )Forum: Plugins

Still now reply from the support team though.
Please, help!)Hi Kriti,
thank you for your help. I have enabled ‘Show RETAKE QUIZ button on result page’. Now a user can take the quiz 2 times: once after loading the page for the first time, and then after hitting the button ‘retake quiz’. After the second attempt there is no message or anything – the page just scrolls to the top. I have a default message for that situation (screen https://prntscr.com/ptu4e0) so I was hoping it would show, but it didn’t.
I don’t need a user to be logged in to take the quiz, in fact I need quite the opposite – all users can take the quiz, as long as they provide their name and an e-mail address. And they should be able to only take the quiz once with a time limit. Time limit works fine.
They still can take the quiz twice though and ‘the Message Displayed If The Limit Of Total Entries Has Been Reached’ does not show up. Any thoughts on how I could resolve this issue?Hi, thank you for your swift response.
The thing is, I already have “1” in “How many times can a user take this quiz?” option. I want it to be just once – user takes the quiz only once. But number “1” does not seem to work, as well as 2, 3 or any other – user can take the quiz many times – no restriction, you just have to refresh the page, and take the quiz again.
I have a screenshot with my option tab:
