    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply. Yes we can confirm that we have tested now by disabling plugins and we felt that we had narrowed it down to a caching issue. In particular we use a caching plugin called WP Fastest Cache. Ever since we disabled all plugins and started re enabling them to test (including the caching plugin) it now seems to work? We do have a number of admin plugins that we have left disabled for now, so perhaps there’s some conflict with those? Not sure. In any case we’re happy that everything seems to be ok. Do you have any insight into caching plugins and if there could be future conflicts there?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Yes we used this exact method in the end actually. We added custom code to add a payment gateway status and as a result, filter, to the orders. Then we added an order export plugin to export everything to a csv file. Has been working great so far.

    Thank you very much for your reply.

    Can anyone help with this or has anyone any idea how to go about this in any other way?

    Alternatively is there anyway to add a payment gateway filter to the ‘Sales by Product’ report

    Woocommerce
    ->Reports
    ->Orders
    ->Sales by product

    (Add some type of percentage filter here under ‘Sales for selected item’ and ‘Purchases for selected item’)

    Hi,

    Thanks. It started working after all. The setting you specified here was correctly configured in mailchimp. I’m really not sure why it suddenly started working so apologies to anyone looking for the answer here. Possible solution above would be your first check perhaps.

    Thanks for your help kimvt1991

    Hi,

    Thank you very much for your reply.

    Order Notes – We have set the ‘Hold Stock’ time to 60 minutes now, so all pending transactions have gone to cancelled with the note ‘Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending payment to Cancelled.’
    Is this best practice? We don’t ‘Manage stock, as in our products are always ‘In Stock’ constantly and yes they are physical products.

    Debug Logging – Yes we can do that but is there a security risk here as it’s telling us as such? Pending orders are sporadic. We forgot to mention that. We have successful paypal payments, but some go to pending and are not listed in paypal. This leads us to believe that it was failure to pay at paypal stage but obviously we want to eliminate doubt. Essentially we can enable logging and put a test through but can’t guarantee it will go to pending.

    or

    we just leave the Debug Logging on (Is this safe) and wait for the next customer order to go to pending.

    Any further advice would be most welcome.

    Just a follow up. We use the in-built Paypal system with woocommerce.
    Should we be using the Angell Eye paypal plugin?

    Again any help would be most welcome as this is causing issues with orders.

    Ok thank you. We’ll keep an eye on the firewall and see how that goes.

    Thank you.

    Well we can only go on our order history to date. The site has been in operation for 5 months at this stage and we never had any Pending Payments at all before we chose Wordfence which was in the last couple of weeks? Therefore we have to assume that its Wordfence or its firewall in this case causing some blocking issue? Are there any docs or tutorials or settings that we should be aware of so that both Paypal and Wordfence are working together properly?

    Hi Gerroald,

    No I’m afraid not. This is happening sporadically. We’ve had some successful Paypal orders over the weekend for example but just this morning we had one go to ‘Pending’. There is no trace or mention of this order or customer in the Traffic list for Wordfence whatsoever.

    We use the built in Paypal gateway that comes with woocommerce. Should we me using the Angelleye one? I think woocommerce endorse it? Not sure if this would make a difference.

    Also our gateway is configured using identity token. We have no api settings in the woocommerce paypal settings. Does this matter? I assumed that was just for offering refunds within then site itself.

    Thanks very much for your reply.

    Ok thanks, but if I’m at the checkout page and change my mind what do I do?
    What if I want to check my cart and add another one of current item? How do I get to the cart page from there without clicking “Back”.

    If I hover over mini-cart on checkout, it’s blank, + it’s still acting as a possible link to cart page, i.e. cursor changes and tooltip says “Cart Page”. This is confusing for the user.

    Any way to enable it?

    Yes, I’m sticking to the WooCommerce Ajax system.

    Will this communicate with any other cart plugins?

    We have a menu cart plugin at the top of our site, but it won’t empty if you remove all items/empty basket within your floating cart.

    I know this is communication between 2 plugins but I was just wondering if you would have any ideas about it at all? A page refresh after emptying the floating cart is the only way the menu cart updates.
