Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: No stylesheets includedSo what does all that mean. https://shesonaughty.com is still ugly. How can I fix it. I know everybody is edgy on this site. We all get that way when things don’t work as they should.
HandySolo, I still have issues. I just can’t figure it out. Why is this happening?
There’s no nesting going on so it has to be something else.
The stylesheets are there but somehow, they’re not being seen by whatever should see them. Any ideas?

In reply to: No stylesheets includedOK what does this mean:
Parent Directory
classic/
default/
thefashioniesta/
wrastle-10/Does that mean they’re nesting? This site is an add-on domain. As such, it has it’s own directory and all the files go in there. Does that have anything to do with it? I have another site and 5 sub-domains on that other site. They’re all working well. Have been for several years.

Thank goodness there are third party folks that can fix your goof-ups.

In reply to: Can’t get into wp-admin – Themes not showing up – Help meGuess what? I created a folder called “ceconn” and saved it in public_html. I then moved all the files in my root to “ceconn”.
Using Fantastico, I installed a fresh copy of WordPress in the root.
I changed the wp-config.php information with my database info and, Bingo, I had a site. I then installed my old theme. It worked.
I’m still tweaking but the main things are done. What a job. I just don’t understand why this wasn’t easier. After all, I had done a complete backup and FTP’d it to the new host.
Oh well, ours is not to reason why.

In reply to: Can’t get into wp-admin – Themes not showing up – Help meWell, that didn’t work so I moved it back to public_html. I’m running out of ideas.

In reply to: Can’t get into wp-admin – Themes not showing up – Help meThat’s where it is now, but the reason I’m doing all this questing for help, the templates don’t show up. My main site is UGLY. I’m just trying to figure out what I can do to fix this problem.
Yes, the site is currently in public_html. I was hoping if I moved it to a folder within public_html, the templates would appear.
I guess, I’ll just do it and see what happens.

In reply to: Can’t get into wp-admin – Themes not showing up – Help meI suspect my not being able to see templates has something to do with my host. I don’t know why I say that but I’ve checked and tripple checked everything else.
What do you think about putting my main domain in a folder named “ceconn” in public_html? The files are not in a public_html folder now. The files are all just in the /home/cecon46/ folder.
Do you think it’s worth a try?
