  • Please, stop fighting. Is the best way to close a question without getting any answer. I’m just sharing my experience. I had the idea of deleting through the FTP the last plugin I installed and “magically” my blog came into life again. Then I realize that there was a sentence that told me that this plugin was not tested with my WordPress version (which, by the way, is the 2.7), but in previous experiences, the plugin supposedly fitted. In some way, the answer still remains unanswered, because we didn’t know why all this happens… It would be a good thing to ask this to one of wordpress programmers… just an idea…

Sorry, I have had the same problem with tecno.ridagold.com.ar. Moreover, I don’t receive the 403 error, just a message (in spanish) “I am not alowed to access the page” in the URL tecno.ridagold.com.ar/wp-admin/, after entering the correct user and pass.
I had a couple of times the same error with another blog (www.ricardoblog.com.ar) and have to install it from scratch in order to revive the blog. It always happened after trying to activate a plugin, except that not always is the same plugin. The last time was with MiniMeta plugin.
    Thank you for your support

    Hi,
I downloaded a fresh copy and uploaded again wp-login.php. And again get the same error message. Then I realized that I had bm-custom-login plugin activated. I deleted it from the /plugins folder and everything seemed to get fixed.
    Thank you for your time.
    Best regards
