Hi,

Still not working

I’m running Version 5.4.16

My mailer is WP Mail.

I have around 70 Emails to send once a month when a new post with specific category is published. At this point when the post is published, the report does not show the event and emails are not sent.

Same problem here. After working for a few years, it stop working sometime around March or April 2022.

I’m assigning a category. Just a FIY, this has been working perfectly for a long time. Don’t know exactly when it stopped working.

I have done some more testing yesterday. I’m assigning a tag with Postie and it’s working ok. But the category field remains empty.

Thanks Wasiliy, this is very good news. Getting the info available in the backend is what is more important to me. Diplaying in frontend would be a bonus.

Thanks Wasiliy for the quick reply. I understand your point but I still believe it’s somehow unfair. If I continue with your example four times 3 stars would end up scoring better then 2 times 5 stars. It becomes even more obvious when you have larger number of voters. For example, this week I ended up with 2 pictures tied at 110, but one had 27 voters while the other one had 28 voters. It’s 4.07 vs 3.93. I’ve implemented CG with 5 stars rating for this very reason. All the numbers are available to calculate the average and I wish I didn’t have to do it manually.

Thanks for your time. I think CG is a great plugin and it really helped me when we had to move our photography club to virtual meetings because of the Covid.

Same problem on my site. All efforts to stop the spam have been unsuccessful.

I have removed the registration form on my site by removing the widget and pages with the shortcode. There is currently no possibility to see a registration form, but I still see new subscribers with *.ru domain appearing about every 15 minutes. I have spent hours trying to track them down but it seems they’re using a back door to register new users. I have to conclude there’s a vulnerability with the the plugin.

My next step is to turn it off completely until a solution is found.

Thanks David, I would prefer implementing my own media page using [mla_gallery] but will surely need your help to get me started. If you could point me to some examples and relevant documentation, I’ll do my best to make it work.

I could also reconsider my current theme if it ends up limiting my options. In this case would you suggest one that works well with MLA, keeping in mind that my site’s purpose is to present photography.
