Thanks WPyogi. I have that link already, but thanks for the thought! I am pouring through that too, but I am hoping that someone can answer a few questions directly so I can move forward. I a have only been at this for a few days, and only for a few hours each day. So for a beginner, I am actually happy with what I HAVE achieved. But if I can get just a few more quirks worked out, I will feel ok about “going public” with the site and then fine-tune things as I go. Thanks though!

Thanks Vicky. That is probably helpful, but maybe I know less than you think. But the directions you gave me sound like how to add to the main menu on top, which I know how to do. I am wondering about this menu under my site name, it is a black bar. I do not know how to edit that. It has a “home” link, and a “what’s new” link, and I didn’t put either of those there. I did create the “what’s new” page, and it appears on the top menu. But I am wanting to either edit or remove this black bar, the other menu.

I guess what i really want is to remove that whole bar that has the “home” and “uncategroized” headings. I don’t need it and can’t seem to get rid of it.

I tried renaming the Uncategorized heading, and it still remains. If I click it, it says page is not found, but then on that error page, the new name appears. But if I go back to the main page, the word “uncategorized” is still there.

I can’t remove it? It seems redundant, I have a menu bar at the very top. Or is this due to my theme choice?

I think the site needs to refresh. When I view it while logged in, the one meta category is gone, but not when I check on a different browser. Now there is just the one to the lower right, with 3 links in it. I am trying to edit that, but don’t know where that is….. And am trying to remove or at least change where it says near the top “uncategarized”.

There already was a meta widget, so I removed it. I should add it back?

Ok, I think I have moved 1, but now how can I edit the links in the second “meta” category (the first will be gone soon, I am sure the site just needs to refresh). The what about that piece near the top that says “uncategrized”?

Ok, the meta widget IS there, I guess. But it does not have any titles filled in. So why do I have titles on the page at all?

I have, but there is only one “meta” area and there are no widgets installed yet, apparently. What would I be looking for?
