There was one post in the queue unsent. I assume that clicking “resume” wouldn’t restart the sending process. So I deleted them as you suggested.

I urge you to add a feature to the plugin which would enable plugin users to manually send notifications for posts which have not been sent. This would make the entire process of deleting posts, republishing, or sending out a separate newsletter with links to all the posts which were not sent–unnecessary.

@lastsplash: Now the site stats have resumed. But there are no stats for the period when I had the plugin deactivated due to the bug (Dec 12-31). You indicated that these stats are maintained on your server. Is there any way to retrieve/restore them?

Not only are past site stats not displaying. It’s not displaying site stats since I installed the updated plugin version.

@arnaud: I’m really disappointed that it took me hrs to figure out your plugin caused this display error. I only was able to trace the problem thanks to my web host. I think it’s irresponsible not to notify users that this error could occur.

Further, why should I have to disable columns in my display in order for the plugin to work properly?

Really liked your plugin. But I do not like this situation.

I was looking at autosave plugins and is it possible that the Classic Editor (which I use) no longer has an autosave feature? I know it used to. Was it discontinued? Gutenberg apparently does. But I don’t use it.

I’ve written to Ezoic support. I hope they can figure it out. I’ve used Relevanssi for years.

What makes no sense to me is that it only causes this problem (at least so far, since I’m new to Ezpoic) on searches. Pages seem to load fine.

    Thanks for trying to help.

Tell them you’re going to post about your experience on Twitter, Facebook, WP forum, Instagram, etc. It might loosen their purse strings a bit. You can also simply refuse to pay if you used a credit card. If you paid for a product they didn’t deliver, you can file a claim with your cc company.

Another MP update failure. I have not heard any response to my 2 previous posts here. Disappointed in the lack of response.

Sorry I never heard a reply from you. My web host said that during a MP version upgrade there was an error & the plugin was wiped out:

“Hi Richard, seems WordPress got a memory error while updating plugin, then upgrade was interrupted and yoast seo was wiped. We have increasing the PHP RAM to 256 MB to avoid this issue.”

In the past, the plugin has thrown an error and deactivated itself. Not sure why the error happens. But it only happens with MP. Perhaps by increasing RAM for the site it will be avoided. But perhaps on MP’s end you might consider a way to protect the process if there is such an error.

I figured out part of the issue: when I set up the plugin somehow (and I don’t remember doing this) there were default images configured for both Twitter and Facebook. Those settings used that profile image I mentioned above. So I deleted that setting and left no default image for both platforms. I saved the new settings, cleared my browser cache and refreshed the plugin page and home page.

When I tried to publish a link to a post in Facebook everything was back to normal. No more default image in the preview. But when I tried the same thing with Twitter it still served the default profile image. I even logged out of Twitter and logged back in. I tried posting the link both from my server and directly on Twitter’s server. I also tried posting a link to Twitter of old posts to see if that might change the preview. Then it posted no preview image at all.

So would you have any idea why Facebook has reverted to normal behavior and Twitter hasn’t? I did go through the FB debug/scrape to ensure I eliminated anything that might be in its crawl of my site.

I’ve double checked that the Twitter default image in the AIO settings is blank. And it is. I’ve also configured both platforms so that the preview should be the first image in content. But Twitter is still serving the old default image for the most recent post; and no preview for old ones. Is there some other Twitter setting that could be causing this?

Here is what the tweet displays: https://twitter.com/richards1052/status/1621260203391086592 You can see that the preview is my profile image when it should be the image in the post.

My site is not a commercial one. So I don’t have a product for which I can start with a focus phrase and then build a post around it. I write a political blog and post about current events, news and issues. So I start with an event or a political issue and write a post about it.

I suppose I could get an idea for a post, then create the phrase to match the event or issue, and then write the post with that in mind. But it would not be the way I would normally work. So I’m not sure how to approach this.

I’ve noticed since installing AIO, when I write a post and add a focus phrase it gives it a low rating (between 35-50) and lists all the things the phrase doesn’t cover. So it’s a bit hard for me to figure out how to match my site content to SEO optimization and focus phrases.

But I will check out the AIO pg to which you linked.

I just sent the data to you. But there is this error msg on the pg: “The site has no validation data. Go to the AMP Settings page and scan you site before sending a support request.”

I don’t understand the other css issue you mentioned of how to find out which plugin may be adding the link. I will try to ask my web host to help figure that out. Not sure they will be able to. But I’ll try.

I figured out the issue. You need to have Yoast activated in order for the migration to work. I’m used to deactivating 2 potentially conflicting plugins. So I only had AIO activated. Once I activated Yoast as well it worked.

There is one feature that would be helpful for me. I only started using keywords/keyphrases about 2 yrs ago. SSo there are several thousand prior posts w/o any. I would like to make those posts more accessible by adding keywords/phrases. But I would have to do each one manually by opening the post page, navigating to the keyphrase box, entering it, updating. Then I’d have to do that 5,000 times. IF there was a way to easily isolate all posts w/o keyphrases, then open the quick edit screen/box and add the keyphrase, that would automate it much better. I would prob upgrade to a premium subscription if it was possible. Just a thought.
