Hi @savvasha,
That’s good to have a confirmation. I guess it would be good for teams to be activated by default and turned “off” by exception with a transfer etc, but I can now understand the reasons. I’ve made the changes and it’s working perfectly – it’s so cool to have a season by season breakdown of all player stats.
I’m very likely to buy the Pro version as I keep being impressed by the flexibility of the software.
Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated
Richard
Thank you. I figured that might be it when I grabbed the screenshot!
Just a question here though – I have set the player’s team and season, and I have linked the event to the league and season as well. Why doesn’t the player’s team automatically appear here? They are listed as a player in the event.
Does this mean that for each season a player is in, that as well as selecting the season and league for a player, I also have to list it here? If so, is there a way of doing this in bulk?
Sorry for lots of questions – I’m just trying to understand how things work ??
Thanks,
RichardHi,
That’s very helpful with regard to custom post types. Thank you. That makes sense. Of course, the SP structure makes more efficiencies as you don’t have to create the same 2019-2020 season multiple times if each league has them. I did a lot of database work in PHP in Joomla! so I’m glad SP seems to make this possible through the UI.
I’ve shown the screenshot below:

The player seems to be in all the relevant leagues and seasons so I await your reply!
Thanks in advance,

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Head to Head League Positions@rochesterj That’s brilliant. Thanks very much. I assumed that the head to head would work after the sort order was completed. Now I created a new column called points difference, made that the second sort order and the head to head is working perfectly!
It’s hidden from the table because I don’t want to display it – just to use it in the calculations.
Many thanks for your time,
Richard
