I think the login doesn’t delete the cookie where the Magento session is tied up. You have to truncate the cart also when you call the logout method.

It shouldn’t cause any problem if you’re gonna use a different hook as long as you double check your scripts if they’re doing well with the changes. I’ll see what could be the cause of this and make an update if necessary.

Hi, may I ask where did you place the code that generates the frontend cookie?

If its in your header.php, remove it a place it in your theme’s index.php right before the get_header() call.

Create a PHP file in your public_html and add the code below:
<?php echo $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']; ?>
If your Magento directory is named magento in the public_html folder, then just append the magento\app\Mage.php at the end of the script’s output.

Yeah, that’s the instruction found in item no. 1 in the Installation tab of the plugin. Follow it, there’s a better way of extending the core files by moving it to local directory.

Did you use WP as front-end?

Of course yes ?? Use an active Magento customer credentials.
If the username/email and password is wrong, a fatal error will occur with invalid login message.

Add the code below right after $session = Mage::getSingleton("customer/session");

$session->login('<customer-email>','<customer-password>');

Place the code below in index.php of your theme just before the get_header(); call and don’t repeat it anywhere.
