Thank you very much for the handy function.

Its not the renaming its the recognising that filenames with accents or foreign characters need to be renamed to start with. Is there a way I can adapt this function to tell the plugin to recognise anything thats not UTF-8 as something which needs to be renamed?

Thanks for the reply, I have tried the UTF-8 option, but with no luck. Any filename with an accent in it just shows a green tick in the media library and I cannot rename, have cleared the logs etc.

Filenames are like this: ‘Stránka_4.jpg’ is there a hook or something I can use to pick these up?

Update: All images with missing thumbnails will not rename (missing due to foreign characters in filename), however images with thumbnails work and the filename changes. Can this work for both?

Getting the same thing, just bought the pro version to rename images in my media library a client has uploaded with foreign characters in them and the filenames are not changing ??

Thanks for the advice, have searched the theme and no joy, its weird as it works fine for the standard menu but not the ShiftNav one.

Have even tried the override filters option (pro) but it still does not add the classes

(make sure you are using the latest version of WP Store Locator)

– In your dashboard go to WPML > Theme and plugins localization
– Scroll down to WP Store locator, click the checkbox next to it
– at the bottom of the plugins list click ‘rescan the selected plugins for strings’

Now when you use the String Translation area you should be able to filter for WPSL and see all the translatable strings from the plugin or search for the one you want to translate.

One thing, in a future release would it be possible to set the default sizes to use in the settings page? When using the plugin on a site clients will edit its often difficult for them to edit a shortcode, especially the gallery one. Would be great to just set and forget ??
