Thanks, Hannah, this was the issue!

I contacted my host provider and was given more php memory to work with. I started out with 64mb, and now have 256mb. Everything works great now. I have to say, you guys are pretty awesome when it comes to free support.

For future reference, is there some sort of documentation page where I can learn how to write CSS code like this for Virtue?

Well, this is close, the videos are (nearly) the right size now, only issue is they appear above the post title. See here for screenshots

Sorry that it’s been so long since I’ve posted here, but unfortunately this did not change it.

@lorro was right. W3 total cache being disabled worked. However, now I’m confronted with a new problem, as updating has dramatically changed the mobile site. Now, instead of two grid items per row, there is only one. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change this, is there a setting I’m missing? If not, I’ll just revert to the backup I made of the old version.

Alright, I updated, and here’s what I found:

If I go to the site without being logged in, I see what you see, the grid without the footer. If I log in, then click “View Site” from the admin backend, it doesn’t show the admin bar and I see the normal public view, as if I weren’t logged in at all.

Here’s the weird part, if I go to themes and click the standard “Customize” option that wordpress gives you, I see the footer, and the grid is replaced with a carousel inside the little preview (I like the grid better, but I’m sure I’ll figure out how to get it back with some settings tweaks). Only after seeing that preview, I can click “View Site” from the backend and see the normal admin topbar noting that I’m logged in, along with the updated version of the site. When I log out, it’s right back to what you see.

Huh. That’s weird. It appears I can only see the footer when logged in to the administrator account in wp-admin. Any idea why that might happen?

EDIT: My mistake. Has nothing to do with being logged in. Logged back in, and they just plain disappeared despite remaining on the “widgets” page under appearance.

EDIT 2: Seems completely arbitrary. Works sometimes, doesn’t work other times.

Was this removed in later versions? I’m trying to do the opposite, I want footers on my mobile version, but can’t seem to figure out how to get them to appear.
