In reply to: inconsisent cssactually, more importantly, there are some html error that I wouldn’t even know where to find the code because I didn’t type it. like:
Line 115, Column 45: Element h5 not allowed as child of element span in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)

This is my first time with child themes if you can’t tell, so I want to learn the right way. When I first saw the theme, I didn’t understand it at all. I’ve come a long way, and now I’ve got to correct my newbie mistakes.

Seems like the mark-up errors are the problem! Header no longer shifting after fixing the hgroup error. I have no idea why I thought of putting <p> instead of just changing the <h1>

I did notice that. But the DOCTYPE, html, header, body, all that stuff is there, in header.php, footer.php, etc. Is this not how the theme goes? Because I didn’t change anything like that, intentially at least.

In reply to: image link not clickable even though url is setDOCTYPE is in the header, along with the html, head, body tags. I didn’t not do this, this is what the default theme of wordpress does. but thatnk you.
