Feel silly now (so easy to fix) but I found it hard to find a link to these docs from wordpress (where I located the plugin)…

How did you enable the snapshot theme to display Page images on the slider instead of only post images?

Thank you.. as obvious as that sounded a small change got it working.
Instead of making an A record in the advanced (cpanel) domain I instead made a * entry in the sub-domain editor pointing to /public_html – this was visible as a *.domain.com A record to the IP in the advanced list (as I am sure I had created and tried before) but this time it worked.

I have found (and heard) of various plugins that can also interupt the requests and stop this theme working properly… Otherwise I can only say that downgrading the jquery file (as described above) worked for me.

Not the best solution, until I can find/understand where the call to this function is and update it this is a simple answer. Thanks for adding this further description… I also went through so many other forums and blogs that are full of guesses and ‘turn off plugins’ then defer into other directions… couldnt find any help elsewhere either.

For the moment I have replaced wp-includes/js/jquery.js with an earlier version, 1.8.0 or earlier seems to be ok and doesnt upset anything else I am using.

Thanks, this is also a free download and otherwise unsupported theme by the developer. Since it’s a jquery error I was hoping for some common support on the usage of this script and a solution to the slider request problem.

After all that (and a badly time period of 6 hours with my site suddenly down and me thinking I did it stuffing around with DNS settings…) I got it ??
Your suggestion worked, no WHM DNS SZone editing as has been written so many times, that just didnt work but in later cPanel versions (and straight from the horses mouth too);
“Actually, there’s a much easier way. Simply add a subdomain like you would any other subdomain in the cPanel interface, except make your subdomain * (as if to show on the screen: *.example.com). If this is not working for you in the latest builds of cPanel/WHM, please let us know.”

And to add, ‘*’ is doing something, removing it results in xxx.mysite.com is server not found, just cant make the * work properly atm.

Just to note though, I have (in the past) added things like docs(.mysite.com) point to ghs.goole.com as a CNAME and they are working fine, as are all the defauls, www, whm, cpanel etc…
Just not * for some reason perhaps, nor any local web hosting specifically by name (like manually) adding blog

also changing that toa * cname pointing to mysite.com doesnt seem to work… :-(((
If wilcards are not wrking is managing a specific add-on or parked domain a way to do it, because that wasnt really working for me wither, I seem stuck.

In WHM (Edit DNS Record) I have added a ‘*’ to point to the same IP of mysite.com, and yeah that does seem to be a problem because it’s not going to the site but displaying that page. ??
