In reply to: Blocks Editor Top Toolbar Not ShowingAre you all using Safari? I just tried accessing a WP site using Chrome and the top toolbar appeared.

In reply to: Blocks Editor Top Toolbar Not ShowingHaving the exact same issue. Additionally, when I use the floating toolbar, the ability to change heading levels is invisible. I finally discovered that it’s still there, but only visible once you click on the empty space where it should be.
But having that top toolbar was really efficient and not having access to that any more is a real downgrade.

In reply to: [Faith] Image Caption FormattingThank you! That did the trick!

In reply to: [Product Input Fields for WooCommerce] Cart Displaying Incorrect SubtotalThank you, Kenil. I have also noticed that the plugin is preventing the cost of add-ons from being computed in the cart. That is, if someone purchases a performance for $100 and then purchases an add-on performance for $25, the cart shows that the add-on has been made, but the subtotal reflects only the original $100 price.
This effect remains regardless of theme used or other plug-ins activated or deactivated.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Cannot edit in block editorYes, Gutenberg issued a patch (8.9.1, if I recall) within a day or so and the problem was fixed.
This was incredibly helpful and turning off the virtual product toggle solved the problem. Thank you!

In reply to: Using Unicode-range to assign fonts to foreign language textThank you for your help earlier. I just wanted to follow up. I did indeed change that element and it had no effect. There is clearly something in the theme that is interfering with this CSS and preventing it from working, but I’ve been unable to figure it out.
Once, while using a child-theme, it briefly worked, but only when the rest of the site’s CSS was temporarily removed.
I had the same question. I notice that the plugin allows for sorting by a custom meta tag. Could this be used to sort by views?
It turns out it was something in the Gutenberg update to 8.9.0. They released a patch today to 8.9.1 that has fixed the problem.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Can’t edit posts since updating to version 8.9Same here. I’m still having trouble with another plug-in, but I think that’s on them. I’m able to edit and the white screen is gone. Thanks for the update.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Can’t edit posts since updating to version 8.9I am having the same problems and thought it might be some Gutenberg block add-ins that were causing the problem, since not only couldn’t I edit anything in block editor mode but the pages were not rendering these custom blocks anymore. I tried deactivating Gutenberg Post Blocks and Advanced Gutenberg but to no avail. But I also have Yoast SEO, so this is the likely culprit. I have downgraded to 8.8.0 in the meantime and am looking forward to the patch.

You’re welcome. Sadly, the most recent update to Gutenberg does not get along with this plugin and crashes my site. Have you encountered anyone else who’s having this trouble? I had to downgrade to Gutenberg 8.8.0 in order to keep using your great plugin.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] SEO Analysis Incorrect Regarding KeyphraseThe plugin, theme, and WordPress are all up-to-date, and I cleared the cache. That didn’t work. But changing “Rev.” to “Reverend” fixed it and eliminated those two problems and warnings.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] SEO Analysis Incorrect Regarding KeyphraseHi @onlyincebu,
My keyphrase is “The blog of Rev. Mark Schaefer.”
As far as the first paragraph, it is marked by a <p class=”no-emphasis”> tag to avoid the theme giving the paragraph a drop cap. When I remove the tag, doing so doesn’t seem to change the SEO warning.
