To put the email input and the button on the same line:
.widget_wysija .wysija-submit, .widget_wysija .wysija-paragraph { display: inline; }
Note: you might need to adjust the width of the input depending on the width of your sidebar

I haven’t tried this yet, because I was wondering if there was a way to create two styles:

1. The default with the button below (to use in sidebars); and
2. With the button on the same line (to use in footer).

Does anyone know if having two widget styles is possible?

If anyone has experience coding the button on the same line I’m sure we’d both like to hear from you. Did it work? Did you run into any problems?

Ooops. Found where I went wrong. In the settings is the option “Show Title / Caption / Desc under image”. That took care of it. ??

I’ll be happy to.

I still ran into a glitch. Was able to create the sidebar, no problem. However, when I decided I didn’t want one widget in it, and deleted that widget, it just wouldn’t let go of it in the published page. I super refreshed, cleared cache, tried different browsers… but still it hung on to that widget. Then I tried deleting the other widgets one by one until I had none in that sidebar. No change — the phantom sidebar and all the widgets were still there on the page. Odd. It wasn’t until I deleted the sidebar entirely from the Theme Sidebars settings that it disappeared.

Doesn’t make any sense.

Any clues? I’m okay using the other plugin for this one blog page, but I thought you should know.

Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately we’re still in the development stage and the site is private, so I can’t show you. I did find another sidebar plugin that worked with the main Blog page (the one that’s a list of all posts).

Once we go public I’ll get back to you. Would be nice to only deal with one sidebar plugin, and perhaps other people are experiencing this same glitch.

Well, this is weird. The error came back. Tried deleting and reinstalling the theme again, but this time it didn’t change — still getting the error. Any thoughts?
