In reply to: [Reverb for Publishers] Customize Display of Related Posts?Hi Fitz!
Thanks for reaching out. If you’re not interested in using one of the WordPress plugin templates, you might want to try tinkering with the Javascript version of Reverb for Publishers.
You can access it by clicking “Get code” in your dashboard — https://publishers.helloreverb.com/app/#dashboard — and following the steps.
That way, you can place these tags — <div data-chorus-discovery=”></div> — wherever you’d like the plugin to appear. Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions!

In reply to: [Reverb for Publishers] How does the plugin create indexable links?Hi Norman,
Great question! And thanks for giving Reverb for Publishers a try.
We follow Google’s search engine crawler recommendations outlined here — https://developers.google.com/webmasters/ajax-crawling/docs/specification. Reverb for Publisher’s PHP code inserts <meta name=”fragment” content=”!”> for crawlers, causing them to request the page again with _escaped_fragment. When our plugin’s PHP encounters that, it will make our API call on the server side and return the set of recommended links in a fully bot-indexable fashion.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. Thanks!

In reply to: [Reverb for Publishers] Trending articles informationHi again Nitin,
The dimensions of the Recommended for You plugin can be altered/overridden with some CSS.
As for the widget not working on your site, can you tell me a little bit more about your integration process? What blogging platform are you using? If you reinstall the plugin again I can take a look at your code to see if anything is out of sorts.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Reverb for Publishers] Trending articles informationHi Bit4all,
Thanks for the great questions! The trending widget will only show trending articles from your blog.
As for the related content plugin, there’s a bit more flexibility. You can either only show content from your site or include content from other sites in our network too. You can even block certain sites from appearing on your site, if you’d like.
And for bit4all.com, I’m not seeing your site in our system. Can you email me at [email protected] with a little bit more information on how you installed Reverb for Publishers? I’d like to take a look and help you out. Thanks!
Best,
CaitlinHi Glyn,
Thanks for bringing our attention to the trending widget issue! I’m sorry you’ve been experiencing some trouble with it on the homepage. It looks like you’ve found a bug with our system and we’re looking into it.
In the meantime, feel free to reach out to us with any other questions by emailing us at [email protected].
Thanks for the support. I hope we can deliver one in the future.

In reply to: [Reverb for Publishers] BrokenI’m sorry to hear that your settings page isn’t working. Are you by any chance using Internet Explorer? If so, occasionally our APIs have trouble interacting with IE and you might try it in a different browser. If you’re using Firefox, Chrome or Safari it would be very helpful if you could take a screenshot of the developer’s console as well so we can see what’s happening. If you’re willing to do this, please let me know and I’ll send you the instructions.
