I’m seeing the same thing as DragonDon. Rather than a checkbox interface for categories, I see a textbox that requires me to type in the name of a category. It will try to autofill using categories that I have created, but a checkbox interface would be simpler. For posts, categories are assigned using check boxes, and tags are created using text boxes. DragonDon and I both seem to be looking for checkboxes for categories, the same category interface that is used on other WP posts.
