  • I have the same issue – it says the keyword density is 0% yet the keyword is in there quite a few times. Not seeing the keyword in the h2 tagged text, alt tags, nor in the first paragraph. It is picking up some things, like outbound links.

Tried your workaround Anna, but that’s making no difference for me.

    Hi again,

    in answer to your questions:
    1. There is no special character there, but I also see it rendered on the page in Firefox and IE8, both on XP. Here is what the two lines that have the special characters look like in the code:

    <td> £499 one-off payment</td>
    <td> £119/ month</td>

The line that doesn’t have the strange character looks like this:
    <td>£321/ quarter</td>

The only obvious thing is the space before the pound sign, but there are spaces before the pound sign elsewhere on this page and they convert fine. I’ve also looked all over my site and all of the other prices seem to convert ok. The only obvious difference with these two is that they are in a table and I’m using rowspan on the previous cell to get the look I want.

    2. I am using my broadband at home and am with Plusnet.

    3. I will contact you directly about the updated plugin

    4. See answer to 1.

    Thanks.

Hi thanks for responding. I hadn’t completed the settings section. I’ve now done this and the problem has gone away. However, I’m now seeing 2 other problems:

    1. My base currency is set as GBP and I am in the UK, however when I look at my pages, currencies are showing in dollars (I assume USD). I’m seeing this whether logged into wordpress or not.
    2. Not all instances are converting, some are showing as $0.00

The site isn’t yet live, so I’ll leave the plugin active so you can see what I mean – for example, scroll down to near the bottom of this page, there are prices in a table near the end of the page:

OK so I think I’m getting there but it’s not quite right yet. I started by just getting the slideshow to work as standard and that is fine. Then I’ve added the metadata you gave in the shortcode and it looks like this:

    [meteor_slideshow slideshow=”branding” metadata=”random: 1″]

I’ve defined a slideshow called branding and I’ve added my 3 images to it. In the Slidehow->Settings I’ve got the following values set:

    Slideshow Quantity 3 slides
    Slide Height 234px
    Slide Width 940px
    Transition Style none
    Transition Speed 0 seconds
    Slide Duration 0 seconds
    Slideshow Navigation none

The problem I’ve got is that when I click to each page, I see the first slide for about 1/2 second and then a random slide is shown (and stays put). I’ve tried playing with the settings, changing the transition speed to a longer time, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

    Further advice would be appreciated.
