In reply to: Permalinks not working (how to restore?)I had the same issue with 404’s after upgrading to WP 2.9 and needing to restore my db. The fix that worked for me, inspired by reading this thread, was to go in and make my htaccess writable (right click on the file, tick appropriate boxes for file permissions), surprisingly it wasn’t. Then I set my permalinks to default, saved, then set them to date and name, all better now, thank you guys!, a very happy New Years to you!:)

In reply to: Warning: implode() [function.implode]:Interesting, looks like both themes in question here are Studiopress premium themes. Metro and Agent. What to do… If I figure it out I’ll repost.

In reply to: Warning: implode() [function.implode]:Hi JeffQC,
hm, I’m having the exact same issue with the exact same Theme. Since this is a premium theme I really hate to dump it for a new theme (Metro 1.0). Were you able to resolve it and if so, could you share how, or anyone else please? Thank you:)
Seriously, save yourself time and headaches if FCG isn’t working in your Revolution/Studiopress themes by trying this one instead. Put the code it gives you in your home.php file, configure it under settings, do exactly what the install directions tell you to do and voila, it works with wp 2.8+ just fine. I use the Church and the Metro themes and when I upgraded to 2.8, FCG stopped working, disabled all plugins and still nada. So despite what anyone else thinks about anyone else grumbling, if you need one that WORKS give this one a try:)

In reply to: New plugin: Flashfader (slideshow in flash)Anybody know where to put this plugin the Daisyrae Gemini theme so it works in the header? I’ve put it everywhere and can’t seem to get it in the right position.

In reply to: New plugin: Flashfader (slideshow in flash)Thanks for looking allthewhile:) Its the standard Daisy Rae Gemini theme though, the only thing I’ve modified is the header image, took the flashfader code off cuz it looks funky but its still activated and configured.

In reply to: New plugin: Flashfader (slideshow in flash)I love this plugin, decided I’d use it with my current theme Daisy Rae Gemini. Got my images made, configured the plugin in “Manage”, uploaded the images. It works great, just not the right place. lol I don’t want the slideshow in my sidebar but in my header. I placed the plugin code just about everywhere in my header template and it shows in the right area, just can’t get it to not look skewed to the right too far instead of exactly where the header images should show up. I’m not a php expert and would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

In reply to: Slaty Stain Theme Links PlacementI would like to say that Shadow, who is also using this theme, was kind enough to email me and explain how to remedy this situation. An extremely nice, not to mention wickedly talented webmaster/artist you are indeed, public kudos to you for being who you are, THANK you!:)

In reply to: (new) Plugin: Revised-Image-HeadlinesOh dear, I’d loan you my broadband if I could, 30 year old analog lines…that’s just…wrong:)

In reply to: (new) Plugin: Revised-Image-HeadlinesI’d appreciate someone being nice enough to actually tell me what it is if you know instead of just a “yes”, hope you got your little chuckle.

In reply to: (new) Plugin: Revised-Image-HeadlinesPlease forgive me for sounding stupid here, but is this the plugin that allows for images to change in the headline box, such as happens on shadows.os42.com’s site where one image fades out and then another one fades in? Or is that something completely different? I love that effect and the theme, thanks!:)
