Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: GoDaddy hosting update, now site isn’t workingAs I mentioned above, I did contact them, and through two levels of support they ended up telling me that they were pretty sure that this was something that needed changing in my WordPress setup, but since I can’t access my dashboard, the only way in is through the database. However, I’m very hesitant to do a whole lot of changes with that unless I have some idea of what I might be looking for, so I was hoping someone here could give me some direction based on the error I’m now getting at the site address.

In reply to: GoDaddy hosting update, now site isn’t workingHaha…I just realized that the “0414” part of that backup was the date, of course! is the “343” the WP version?
Any updates on this functionality? I’d still love to be able to select “audio post” for Tumblr in the NextScripts interface…
I didn’t see this in the latest update — did you mean next full release?
For my “regular” blog, I just use a WP audio plugin that doesn’t require a direct upload into the post (it needs specific tags). To get that into my Tumblr blog as a new audio post, I can always just start a new audio post in Tumblr and then copy and paste the text from WP, etc.
However, for all of my older posts not yet synced with Tumblr, I want to get them into Tumblr as audio posts with the original post date so that I can utilize my Tumblr theme’s audio player. I was able to do that with the Tumblrize plugin by uploading the relevant audio file into a previous post (to get the link which then allowed me to select “audio post” in Tumblrize), and then I would “Update” the WP post, resulting in an audio post in Tumblr with the original date.
If you followed that, I’m just hoping that NextScript might be able to allow me to do the same. Including an audio link in a Tumblr text post just doesn’t look as nice (https://reselect.tumblr.com/post/31349261845/the-corin-tucker-band-doubt) as one that comes through as an audio post (https://reselect.tumblr.com/post/30507560415/to-say-that-chuck-berry-invented-rock-n-roll-is), if you see what I mean.
I have the latest version, and yes, I do see that it offers “Image post” — so my inclusion of “photo” in the example above was incorrect.
But for my blog, what I most need is a similar “audio post,” so that I can utilize my Tumblr theme’s audio player. If it posts as a text post, I don’t have that option.
When I first installed NextScripts just a few weeks ago, I was able to “publish” my older WordPress posts to Tumblr, keeping the original post date as the Tumblr post date as well. Today I realized that, when I look at the NextScripts options at the bottom of the older posts, that checkbox is now grayed out and I can only click “Repost,” which posts it on Tumblr with the current date, as though I was just publishing it today.
Is there somewhere that I can change that in the plugin settings? Or can you put that ability back in? I really needed that (and Tumblrize used to do it) so that I can finish “syncing” my newer Tumblr blog to my pre-existing WP blog.
