In reply to: [Tako Movable Comments] Editing a comment still blanks it outHi fakeologist,
thanks for letting me know. You’re right, it must be a problem with a permission issue.
Can you give me an example of an edit plugin that you use so I can reproduce the problem and patch it? Thanks again! In the mean time, I will try to reproduce the issue on my own and fix it right away. ??

In reply to: [Tako Movable Comments] move comments from old site to newHello Scott,
Glad that everything is sorted out. Just to answer, if it is a fresh installation of WordPress, you would transfer all the data to the new site. And here, you can just move the comments to any post types or custom post-types. Copy pasting comments is too much of a hassle for me.

In reply to: [Tako Movable Comments] move to bbpress forumsIt does show the comment on the bbPress forum but it won’t show it as a ‘reply’. It shows it as a ‘comment’ or a ‘thought’.
I am using the WordPress TwentyEleven theme and it does show the comment under a topic (and also a forum) but it is shown at the bottom when I scroll down. Depending on your theme, the comments may or may not show. View screenshot here: https://oi42.tinypic.com/2h2hwd2.jpg
Reply and comments are two different post types. So, if you are expecting the comments to be move and shown as a forum ‘reply’, it won’t happen. bbPress will show it as a comment instead and it will only show depending on your theme.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Tako Movable Comments] move to bbpress forumsHello Gladman,
When I created this plugin, I didn’t create it for bbPress in mind, let alone test it on bbPress. I have never tried bbPress before and I am not familiar with the architecture. My guess is that it has a different architecture and requires specific plugins for it to work since it has its own plugin page here: https://bbpress.org/plugins/. I may be wrong though.
Therefore, I think this plugin is compatible only for normal blogs. I am sorry if it doesn’t suit your needs. My advice is that you remove the plugin and try and search for something else.
In the mean time, I will try and test it on bbPress and lets see what can be done in order to make it compatible with bbPress.

In reply to: [Tako Movable Comments] Very good, just..Hello, thank you so much for the feedback. I have included your suggestions in the recent update (version 1.0.3). It is not exactly like the WordPress “add link” dialog, but it certainly involves autocomplete and will make your life much easier when searching for post titles! ??
I hope you enjoy the new version. Thanks again for the feedback. Cheers. ??

In reply to: [Tako Movable Comments] Editing a commentHello earningsarea,
Thank you for letting me know. I tried editing a comment and I can’t seem to be reproducing the same problem that you are having. it seems fine. Can you tell me specifically how you edit the comment so that I can try reproducing the type of errors that you are having? Are u trying to say that you can’t edit the comment after using Tako?
The new update was nothing major. It was just changing from <? ?> syntax to <?php ?> and some missing single quotes. Thats all.
Thanks. ??
