working fine for me on Seamonkey browser on MacBook Tiger. what lightbox plugin are you using? Lightbox 2?

Did you try the suggested “Use Google Libraries” plugin. worked for me. at least for the editor box. and don’t forget the ‘Screen Options’ toggle up at the top.

I tried this fix, didn’t work. got a blank page with a string of numbers across the top.

try the “Use Google Libraries’ plugin. made the tabs on editor work again for me.

did you try installing the “Use Google Libraries’ plugin? it fixed my editor visual/html problem at least. not the lightbox problem.

even the Beta 3.3 candidate didn’t have these problems.

They’re letting us hang in the wind. what shame, since 3.2 didn’t seem to have ANY of these issues.

Similar issues. edit post or new post, edit window shows the two tabs: Visual & html. but only shows html. won’t switch back. making changes to html and adding text works. can see it in preview.
And, add media/image pulls up the popup, but not handy to use the drag and drop, and tho it seems to upload a selected image, it does not insert it in post.
nor does the lightboxes work, tho the code seems to be still there. plugin on and off doesn’t help.

Has this been resolved? cuz I’m having similar problem with an upgrade to WP 3.3, except the tabs show up, but I can’t switch to the visual editor.

You can just upload it on the theme page on your WordPress site. there is an upload button, just browse to your theme in .zip format, and choose, then choose install on the page.
Wordpress does it for you.

can you use Firefox browser? IE is notoriously hard to use for a lot of stuff.
Also can you log in to your cpanel for your website?
and then FileManager. You can use that to upload and change file and folder permissions so you can change things.

can you hookup your two computers? then transfer…
or do a backup of the original, and import that into new one.

Wow, esmi. that’s just as much work as just doing all the tweaks after an automatic upgrade. I got lost just reading it.thanks anyway.

how do you do the upgrade in ‘little steps’.? don’t want to have to redo all widgets again. this is one reason I hate to upgrade. it takes so much time to get all your tweaks and customizations back. sometimes days.
got two diff installs and one very old theme that I just love.
Should I try it out in my MAMP first? got newer MacBook, as my Powerbook died. and haven’t gotten far with the MAMP yet.
